Symposium CIDUI 2019 - How does the university respond to current challenges? Models and proposals

This edition of the Symposium is looking to focus on the existing interaction between universities and their surroundings, considering the diversity of the courses on offer at universities to cater for student needs, employability and graduate competitiveness; to analyse whether universities, together with the companies and institutions around them, are creating opportunities to foster student talent, establish them in the territory and encourage them to return; and finally tighten the bonds between universities and their surroundings through social and change-focused proposals.

At this symposium, we hope to identify experiences that showcase how committed universities are to their surroundings and propose a series of challenges to ensure that this relationship is real and effective.

We would like to talk and debate with government, teaching, administrative and managerial staff as well as students. So what we are proposing is a symposium for knowledge exchange and debate.
