Information about cookies

Due to the entry into force of the modification of the Spanish "Law on Services of the Information Society" (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of users of all web pages that use unessential cookies before they browse the same.

What are cookies ?

Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, and to offer a correctly functioning site.

Cookies affected by the regulation and cookies that are exempt

According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed consent from the user are analytical, advertising and affiliation cookies, except for those of a technical nature and those that are necessary in order for the website to function or to provide services that are expressly requested by the user.

There are five large groups of cookies:

  • Advertising and behavioural cookies: these collect information about the user's personal preferences and choices (retargeting).
  • Technical and functional cookies: these are strictly necessary in order to use the website and for the provision of the contracted service.

Cookies that we use on our website

 

  • PHPSESSID: technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the identifier of the session. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
  • _lang: technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the language of the session. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
  • ac_cookies: technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the value of whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. Expires 1 year after the last upgrade.
  • _ga: Google Analytics Universal cookie that enables the unique visitor control function. The first time that a user enters the website using a browser, this cookie is installed. When this user returns to the website using the same browser, the cookie will consider it to be the same user. Expires 2 years after the last upgrade.

  • _gat: This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to limit the request speed - the limitation on data collection in high traffic sites. Expires after 10 minutes.
  • _gid: This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to distinguish users. It expires after 24 hours.

How to eliminate the OW TO cookies from the browser

Chrome

  1. Select the Tools (wrench) icon.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Click on Show Advanced Settings.
  4. In the "Privacy" section, click on Content Settings.
  5. Delete cookies: Click ALL cookies and site data.
  6. Do not allow cookies to be stored.
  7. Click on Clear Browsing Data (clear the cache).
  8. Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer. Versión 11

  1. Select Tools | Internet options.
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. In the "Browsing History" section, click Delete Browsing History on exit.
  4. Select Delete Temporary Internet Files.
  5. Select Delete Cookies.
  6. Click Delete.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Close and restart the browser.

Firefox. Versión 18

  1. Select Firefox | History | Clear recent history.
  2. Next to "Details", click on the down arrow.
  3. Select the following check boxes: Cookies, Cache, Active logins.
  4. Using the "Time range to clear" from the drop-down menu, select All.
  5. Click on Clear Now.
  6. Close and restart the browser.
