First steps towards the 6th GUNi Higher Education in the World report

The 6th GUNI Higher Education in the World report editorial board held its first meeting on Thursday, March 26. The meeting took place in the Art Noveau Site in Barcelona with the participation of John Goddard, professor emeritus at the University of Newcastle and Ellen Hazelkorn, professor of Dublin Institute of Technology. Rajesh Tandon and Budd Hall, co-directors of the UNESCO Chair "Community-Based Research and Social Responsaibility", also participated in the meeting through an on-line lecture from India and Canada. The 6th report will be drawn up for the next two years and it will address the issue of "Glocal University" to be studied in four levels: from an international perspective, from the perspective of UNESCO Chairs, from the Catalan perspective and from the perspective of the relationship between cities and universities.
