The ACUP participates in an expert seminar on doctoral education in Africa of the International Association of Universities
On 27 and 28 November the International Association of Universities (IAU) organizes an expert seminar titled 'Making education doctoral work in Africa and for Africa' in Paris. This seminar brings together a team of experts in doctoral training as well as members of specific working group of IAU. The aim of the seminar is to reflect on current trends in the field of training of doctors in African educational institutions to identify the challenges, needs and opportunities that could lead from an international network as the IAU. Nadja Gmelch of ACUP, a member of the expert group of the IAU, will present the results of a survey among users of the website IDEA (www.idea-phd.net) that ACUP has developed together with the IAU and UOC. The results of this survey will help define the future of this platform.
