ACUP statement on the situation in Ukraine
In Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona i Lleida, 24th February 2022
Over the last few hours, we have learned that Russia, with the help of Belarus, has launched a large-scale military attack on Ukraine. We strongly condemn the use of military aggression as an instrument for resolving territorial disputes, which is contrary to international law and human rights, and express the need to address and resolve political issues from democratic principles, dialogue and respect. to peoples and minorities.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, reaffirming that the path of diplomacy and dialogue must prevail at all times in international relations and coexistence between peoples.
