The ACUP and the Generalitat of Catalonia participate at the NAFSA international fair in Philadelphia
The Catalana Assotiation of Public Universities and the Catalan Government participated, between the 27th of May and the 1st of June, at the NAFSA 2018 Annual Conference & Expo. The Association of International Educators (NAFSA) is the world's largest non-profit international association dedicated to university education and its annual conference was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The topic of the 2018 conference has been 'Diverse voices, shared commitment'. The Catalan universities have announced the offer of degrees and masters at the NAFSA fair, with a stand Study in Catalonia. A knowledge hub in Sourthern Europe. This year's edition of the NAFSA fair has exhibited more than 400 universities and higher education centers and more than 100,000 visitors have visited the Boston Convention Center, which has become the meeting point for establishing new contacts with the world university offer.
At the stand of Catalonia, visitors have found all the information about the Catalan universities and the offer of study thanks to the distribution of different materials (Study in Catalonia, Passport to Catalonia, Master's Program). The Catalan delegation participates with its own stand for the ninth time.The delegation participated in 2009 in Los Angeles (California, USA), in 2010 in Kansas City (Missouri, USA), in 2012 in Houston (Texas, USA), in 2014 in San Diego (California, USA), in 2015 at Boston (Massachusetts, USA), 2016 in Denver (Colorado, USA), 2017 in Los Angeles (California, USA) and 2018 in Boston.
