Successful workshop in Doctoral Programs and e-supervision

On Thursday October 31, the ACUP organized jointly with the International Association of Universities (IAU), the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and Kenyatta University (KU) in Nairobi, Kenya, a workshop on doctoral programs and e-supervision. Among the participants of the workshop were the rector of the Kenyatta University, Olive Mugendo, and representatives from other African universities such as Rhodes University in South Africa and the University Gaston Berger of Saint Louis, Senegal. Experts in web 2.0 and the use of these new tools for training and research shared their experiences and research results. The workshop participants decided to draw a few lines of e-supervision for doctoral studies in the coming months.

The organization of the workshop was part of the PLE project-PhD and Project IDEA-Innovative Approaches to Doctoral Education in Africa.
