The Catalan university system participates in the 30th annual EAIE conference in Geneva

The Catalan university system, represented by the Secretary of Universities and Research of the Catalan Government, Francesc Xavier Grau, the general secretary of the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia (CIC), Lluís Baulenas, representatives of the universities and the ACUP, participate in the 30th annual EAIE 2018 conference held in Geneva from September 11 to 14, 2017. This year, the theme of the event, which presents a high quality program on the internationalization of higher education, is "Facing Outward". The university education of Catalonia participates with a stand in this event since 2009. More than 5,000 professionals from more than 80 countries from all over the world will gather in Geneva.

The European Association for International Education (EAIE) is an international non-profit association, founded in 1989 with the main objective of stimulating and facilitating the internationalization of higher education in Europe and around the world. The EAIE also serves those people who are actively involved in the internationalization of their institutions. The Association is made up of more than 1,800 members, international education professionals, from rectors, professors, to international exchange coordinators. During the days that the Hall takes place, the EAIE organizes a program of workshops, sessions, posters, dialogues and networking events on a wide range of topics related to the internationalization of universities, from policies and strategies, mobility or cooperation for to development to aspects such as accreditations, reception, languages ​​or good practices.
